Hong Kong Atlas (2013) by Zoran Poposki is form of translation and transcoding of Dung Kai-cheung’s novel "Atlas: The Archaeology of an Imaginary City". Taking Dung’s book as a starting point, Poposki's project traces the locations in that book onto the real terrain of today's Hong Kong by means of a psychogeography documented in digital photographs, and the resulting series of urban landscapes are then once again transcoded into visual form as a body of works across various media.
Screenings include: Art Basel Hong Kong, Osage Gallery Hong Kong, Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, ArtStays International Festival of Contemporary Art in Slovenia, NotFestival in Copenhagen, Gallery 3D in Venice, etc.
