This was an experiment I did taking shots out the front window of an A-Star helicopter, hand-held using a Canon 5D SLR, about 1 frame per second, manually operating the shutter
Images were stabilized and cropped using after effects.
Flight path is from Black Island Antarctica, across the Ross Ice Shelf, past the Pegasus Airfield, ending at McMurdo Station.
Would have been a lot nicer without the windshield reflections, but the end results are pretty good for a spur-of the moment thing all things considered.
With a bit more time and effort it could be cleaned up even more.
