A partnership with Brooklyn Movement Center & GREEN / ARTS LIVE NYC, “I LIVE HERE TOO” was inspired by the shared experiences of Central Brooklyn tenants looking to rebuild community safety and unity despite landlord neglect, gentrification, and police occupation. This forum play was dressed as an 80-90s talk show about an affordable housing property owned by a luxury building developer. Characters include elitist homeowners, a poorly trained building security, a doubled-up family, a well-meaning but nosy elder, and pushed-out youth.
