The poet Edward Dorn, epic and joyfully experimental chronicler of America’s landscape, histories, peoples, and her spiritual and poetic spaces, is best known for his magnum opus Gunslinger (1989).
Travelers, poets, and scholars gathered to celebrated the publication of Dorn’s Collected Poems (2012), uncovering at last the breadth of his poetic pursuit and the scholarship this innovative American master inspired within the Black Mountain School and beyond.
