In swinging 1960s Liverpool, the MV Royal Iris served as a ferryboat on the Mersey - hosting concerts by many performers including The Beatles and Gerry & the Pacemakers. Now she lies abandoned on the banks of the river Thames in foreign London.
Lorraine Fossi found the Iris by her new studios in Woolwich, and sparked a journey within herself. She dedicated her latest exhibition of paintings to the Iris.
Video directed and edited by Robert Hillier. Sound by Carine Koleilat.
