Frank Denton, an engineer on all the original NASA Apollo Missions during the 1960's and 70's, reveals how he weaved the message of John 3:16 into the way he designed the astronaut's umbilical chord. This chord, which became known as the astronaut's "lifeline", was titled J3:16 on the chest of the suit. There is no better designation code for this important attachment, since it mirrors the eternal lifeline of the verse John 3:16 from the Bible. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have eternal life."

This behind-the-scene video brings this incredible history to light. The story is also documented in a tract written and produced by Frank Denton.
