Glenorchy City Council had Simon Williams of Concrete Dreams design their Tolosa Street Park, which Concrete Skateparks put into the physical form so well.

Saturday the 13th of April was meant to be Official Opening, but Simon got called overseas for winning a Innovation Award for an electronic motorbike innovation: Smart Cookie. The official opening is to be confirmed, but in the meantime Louis Carney caught up with Mr Williams to get the back story around the skatepark before he jetted off. We had a great Best Trick comp as you can see. Hyped on our new Southern Tas Hub manager Paul McMacken's efforts behind the scenes, it went off!

Shoutouts to Glenorchy City Council, Tasmania Sport and Recreation, Nike, Pro-tec, Jimmy's Skate and Street, also Deathwish and Baker for the prizes.

The skateboard scene in Tasmania is growing rapidly!
