Katie was with me when I had a look into this incredibly big hole at the corner of McCaul and Darcy Streets using my camera attached to a long wooden stick, that allowed me to reach over the safety fence. The corrugated wall is made of reinforced concrete columns that were made when concrete was poured into holes drilled into the ground prior to the excavation. The drilling rig that made the holes for the concrete columns can be seen in an earlier photo here: flickr.com/photos/stankr/8661333159 - I have also added some video clips of the hole as it is being made: vimeo.com/64639447. And this is the project: .toronto.ca/wps/portal/contentonly?vgnextoid=026ff1ac72432410VgnVCM10000071d60f89RCRD
