The University of Waterloo Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) Student Chapter organizes events under the series Professor Lecture Series. In this series, we are exploring some of the current Human Factors research led at Waterloo, from healthcare to autonomous vehicles, to promote awareness of the field and inspire new interest.
We have Dr. Jian Zhao as our speaker for Professor Lecture Series. He will give an introductory presentation on the concept of Information Visualization (InfoVis) and the academic research he conducts. Professor Zhao is an Assistant Professor at the Cheriton School of Computer Sciences, and he is the Director of the WatVis (Waterloo Visualization) research group. He is also affiliated with the WaterlooHCI Lab.
