This is an insightful episode on one woman's efforts to make India inclusive towards its intellectually challenged. Meet Sugandha Sukrutaraj, the founder of AMBA, an organisation that trains and employs hundreds of intellectually challenged individuals with a low IQ for back office processing work. AMBA uses unique teaching methodologies and peer-to-peer training to enable its trainees to take on increasingly complex business processing work. It associates with institutions across the country which can care for such individuals and helps them become its hubs for training and employment.
Sugandha efforts could see a sustainable model of inclusivity come alive, where India's intellectually challenged not only contribute to their families financially but also have an identity of their own.
