In the beginning of April 2013, Lemon&Orange had the pleasure of co-organizing an interactive press conference for Procter&Gamble. The event celebrated the launch of a new shampoo and conditioner brand – Aussie - to the Polish market. It was hosted by Paulina Sykut and the invited guests were journalists and bloggers from all over Poland. The press conference took place in Warszawa Wschodnia, a Warsaw restaurant that proved an excellent spot for a unique presentation of 5 new lines of hair care products, We used augmented reality technology to transport our guests to a pristine Australian beach. The application we created featured over a dozen animations of animals against the background of sea waves and palm trees swaying in the wind.
Apart from the augmented reality installation we prepared an application presenting Aussie products on a 47'' touch screen. The screen served as a control unit for the conference hosts, allowing them to conduct the narration in a non-linear way. The objects appearing in the application were generated in real time 3D, which guaranteed smooth transitions between the elements of the presentation. For the Procter&Gamble event we also created a 3D beach, used as a moving background for videos and photographs of Aussie product lines.
