As a still fish out of water (east coast big city living to small town semi-suburbs), I find that most of my communication is of the "virtual" variety as I'm still uncomfortable with my surroundings. The unfortunate side effect I've found is that sometimes it's easy to slip into thinking that the tiny percentage of the "internet body" is representative of the world as a whole, and society as a whole.
Since it seems that I end up coming across a lot of people who feel the same way, so my only purpose with this video was to ask a simple question.. where did it go? Where has the idea of communication gone? Has it gone anywhere, or are we in the new age of communication with the progression of the internet age and social media?
At the time I was working on this video, I was also listening to Brian Eno's "Music for Films" album.
