Beatrice Burn is a retired actress who is pulled out of retirement in order to assume the role of a mature character in a newly established play. She is an extremely well known and well respected theatre actress, but also known to be hostile at times and hard to work with. In recent years, Beatrice’s age has gotten the best of her and unknown to the cast and crew, her mind has become to deteriorate in a way which strongly affects her performance. However, in vain, Beatrice tries to cover up the situation in an attempt to avoid losing the reputation she worked so long to establish.
