Driving into Schoodic Head, a part of Acadia National Park that is a separate peninsula in downeast Maine across a body of water from Mount Desert Island, where most of the park is located, I began to talk into a hand-held recording device while I was sitting in the car and walking around on the rocks there. After a while I used my phone to shoot a one long take of water and rocks at the edge of the ocean. I walked around some more talking into the recording device some more. I finally thought maybe the 15 or 20 recordings I had made one after another might turn out about the same length as the video I had shot. When I did juxtapose them on my laptop at home, the video was 10 seconds longer -- the last 10 seconds of this video here.
