This was a short video to play on loop during my team's engineering poster symposium on April 19, 2013. Watch in HD.
The project was to build an electric motorcycle for a client to go at least 25 miles at a speed of 70 mph. The bike was successfully completed and handed off to the client. This video shows the SolidWorks model of the bike we used to decide a new battery orientation (drawn by Richard Arena), a SolidWorks model of the helical gear system designed to operate the vehicle and motor more efficiently (drawn by Travis Knight), and footage from testing the vehicle in its 31 mile route on I-81 (driven by Sam Osterhout).
