Derrick Behm [white male with blue shirt and glasses]: Recent discussions revolved around ASDB (Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind) regarding Superintendent Hill putting Dr. Nancy Amann, the principal [CORRECTION: Amann is the Assistant Superintendent] on administrative leave. He also closed a program, the Agriculture Education Program, AEP, which included growing crops and raising animals—a popular program among students. The teacher of the program was also fired.
Now, students are protesting that the Superintendent is not fit to be a superintendent—not maintaining good rapport with students, too. He also does not fit the criterion to be a superintendent of ASDB.
The students want him out, and they want the Board to understand their situation.
