Founded by Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban Policy Professor Dennis Derryck, Corbin Hill Road Farm is a network of rural farms and urban communities in New York. The farm share offers fresh and local produce to those living in the Bronx, Harlem, and The New School, while also encouraging members to invest in the farm itself. By reinventing the traditional Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model, the shares are designed to be accessible for communities across all income levels. Corbin Hill is a food justice movement that empowers individuals and strengthens community relationships.
On one autumn day, New School alumni joined community shareholders for a trip to Corbin Hill Road Farm in Schoharie County for a guided tour and farm-to-table lunch. It was a chance for shareholders to witness the progress of their investment while further enhancing their connection to the rural farmers, investors, and each other.
