This is a university project about John Cage's works on typography.
My task was to reinterpret one of his pieces through motion graphics.
"Type comes to life as pure shape": that's what John Cage said about his own work "Writings" (1977).
From this idea I developed a research about the man, his works and his conception of music.
After composing and recording a track (inspired by Cage's "noise music" and mixed with nowadays sounds), I focused on interaction between music and the glyphs, in order to provide synesthesia.
