We kayaked from Kearney to the Gibbon/Lowell Road bridge on Sunday. We floated down the north channel and the flow reading on the Kearney gauge was at 2400 cfs (cubic ft/second). Some of the bird species you will see: Canada Goose, American Coot, White Pelican, Wood Duck, Double Crested Cormorant, Great Blue Heron and Blue Winged Teal. We saw many others but didn't capture all of them on video; Belted Kingfisher, Mallard, crows, hawks, osprey, gulls and cranes. See if you can spot any of these in the video: semis, bike riders, a volleyball, the Archway, a basketball, Sweetwater Road bridge, and remnants of the Ft. Kearny Trail bridge. Make sure the HD is turned on before watching. facebook.com/kearneywhitewater
