Artist Dries Verbruggen is co-founder of the design studio Unfold. By focussing on computation design and production methods as well as spatial design, he translated pottery to the 21st century.
Unfold was founded in 2002 by Claire Warnier and Dries Verbruggen after they graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven. It's intention was to be become platform for just everything they did and would do. The Antwerp-based duo developed a strong multidisciplinary background in design, technology and art and often collaborates with a vast network of kindred spirits and specialists.
Unfold's works were exhibited in a variety of cities around Europe, among others in Brussels, Antwerp, Hasselt, London, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, New York, Milan, Stockholm and Prague. The studio and its outcome were reported on in multiple books and magazines like FRAME, Elle Living, Grand Stand 2, Designboom.com, Spacecraft 2, House of concepts and Beyond Architecture.
