The cadets have 15 minutes to get dressed before reporting for the morning formation and flag raising. Those not looking presentable are called out by their company commander, and some can be seen doing push-ups prior to the start of formation.

Front and center is junior Harold McCoo III. As battalion sergeant major, he is the third-highest ranked cadet. Company commanders report to him with their morning attendance and he asks why certain cadets are not at formation.
