rosbag2 is a more flexible tool than the original rosbag - with new ways to use and extend it that users are likely not yet familiar with. This talk outlines rosbag2's high level architecture and extension points with a plugin-writing demonstration, how to evaluate bag performance for application developers and plugin writers, and a brief discussion of the latest features and upcoming roadmap.
