Stage reading of Vivian Hue's Prodigal Daughter directed by Doug Kaback and featuring Dana Lee, Jully Lee, and Joon Lee, produced by Works in Progress at Nakano Theatre, Torrance Cultural Arts Center, April 24, 2013. The story: a daughter's visit to her father in Florida uncovers more secrets than simply the recent death by suicide of her brother. It also reveals a momentary opportunity for reconciliation between these two strong-willed family members.
This reading was produced by Works in Progress as part of a theater series, Coming of Age, that celebrates the 110th anniversary of Korean immigration to the United States. Works in Progress is a partnership between John Powers and Torrance Historical Society & Museum.
