Gay Marriage is a hot topic. Whether we should allow it or not, is not a question this short video will answer. It's only purpose is to create discussion and debate. The relevance of this video relies on the rich metaphors and allegories that situate us in a contemporary argument. The use of cards is a reference to chance, opportunity and luck. The chance to decide, the opportunity to be, and the luck to be able to have all of these. The video starts with a man playing solitaire. This game by itself implies loneliness, a common situation for people dealing with their sexual orientation. He fails. The system of the game wins against him, an allegory to the social system winning the battle of gay people against old customs. He is done. He turns the lights off. A game world wakes up. The chance, the opportunity and the luck rule it. It is a love game. Two “people” trying to be happy. Two cards fighting for a title. King and Queen are getting ready for an special event. Will they be happy?
