Directed by Ikiru & Zubin Sethna
In 1929 Billy Wilder set a milestone in world cinema in the form of the first docu-drama: "People on Sunday". Attempting to combine reality and fiction, the film followed five young Berliners on their weekend-exploits. We preserved the old plotline, the improvisation method and the silent-film form and tried to remix a modern version of the story for the vacuum-cleaning, cellphone-ringing, neurotic new age. To a score by Berlin's premier electro-punk outfit: Susan Atlas.
2007. 35 Min. Color. Stereo Score (No Dialog)
