Franklin County Engineer Dean Ringle was recognized with the William H. Anderson Excellence in Public Service Award. The William H. Anderson Award recognizes a current or past board member who exemplifies outstanding leadership, a vision for the community and the region, and commitment to MORPC. William H. Anderson, a longtime MORPC board member, was the epitome of a civic volunteer who is remembered for his zeal with which he championed MORPC'S mission and goals.
Dean Ringle has been a member of MORPC’s board since 2000 serving as Chair from 2008-2010. Ringle serves as Chair of the Public Works Integrating Committee and is described as having a creative and innovative approach with recommendations for the region’s public works dollars. Ringle also currently serves as Chair of MORPC’s Bylaws and Articles of Agreement Committee spending many hours of his time reviewing and discussing these important organizational documents. Ringle, passionate about MORPC and Central Ohio, is the epitome of a civic leader. Ringle is an outstanding regional leader and MORPC board member and is well deserving of the William H. Anderson Award.
