I went with the Ocean Defenders Alliance on their hunt for abandoned lobster traps, along the western border of the Point Vincente Marine Protected Area. Lobster season has been over of 6 weeks and they were looking for lost traps. They may not look like much of a hazard, but these are what whales can be caught up in. Three divers were on scooters and they were able to cover a lot of territory..
