My art video was inspired by my boss on my first day of work. Then first thing he said to me was that pizza was an art and that it took a skill to make a perfect pizza. So in my video I wanted to portray a mixture of actual art and my boss’s form of art witch is making a pizza. The art I chose to portray was an old piece of art by Piet Mondrian. It is a simple pieced that shows a composition of the colors black, red, blue, and yellow. To capture that I used what ever I could find in the pizza shop to come as close as possible to the actual art piece. For the thick black lines I use placed olives on the frozen pizza shell one by one. For the colors, mustard was the closest to yellow I could find in the pizza shop. For the blue in the painting I used blue cupcake icing from the bakery. Finally, for the red I used our homemade pizza sauce. Enjoy!
