In 2007, two young Polish actors, Kamil Adamus and Krystian Godlewski, turned an abandoned building in South London into a fully functioning independent theatre.
In 2008, the local council kicked them out and boarded the place up.
In 2009, they tore the boards down and moved back in... only for the council to serve another eviction notice for August of this year.
Rafal Rakoczy, a filmmaker who shot “The Bones Theatre” And Their Creative Space, a documentary about the original eviction, decided to organise a multimedia party prior to the eviction, a sort of arty ef-you to the powers that be.
