I have discovered a "chatter" problem using digital servos. The chatter "varies" and is not always consistant as to what part of the servo system it affects, sometimes it is a "pulse" of an aileron or something else. In the video (link below) it manifests itself as a rudder and slight aileron jitter.
I only wish I had known that this was an issue before I installed it in my Reactor so that I could have done a "mock up" to check to see if the issue existed beforehand.
Ironically, I wanted to use the Reactor in sport plane mode to check out the Eagle Tree System, as I wanted to monitor the power system, especially mAh. I will have to abandon using this plane due to the digital servos, and transfer the Eagle Tree to another plane.
I do understand that this is not the fault of Eagle Tree Systems or of Futaba. I know I can still use the data recorder without the 900Mhz transmitter, but I really wanted the dashboard for in-flight information.
I will try out the ETS out on my analog servo based planes, hopefully, no other surprises await me. I am optimistic.
