We welcome in this years wedding films with Darren and Lynn who had chosen the 9th of February to celebrate their wedding. We were delighted to be asked to capture the memories on film and in the morning made the short trip down to Ayrshire where brisk fresh air and a slightly overcast day greeted us.
It seemed the emotion of the day struck Lynn as she entered the church having to sit a minute beside a very soon to be husband, however this rest bite was only short and Father Boyd was able to perform the beautiful ceremony accompanied by a trio of strings. Following the ceremony at St Mary's in Irvine where family and guests spilled from its doors, the wedding party made their way to the Western House Hotel by Ayr Racecourse.
Smiles and hugs were exchanged as the two families mingled together while at the same time photographs were taken immortalizing the day in a still format. This all before sitting down for their meal though not before Lynn's neice read a poem she had previously written for the day. A wonderful personal touch.
After the meal four brave men and one woman took to the floor to recite funny stories about the couple and emotional toasts. The couple then impressed everyone with their slow dancing moves, joined by members of the wedding party and finally the rest of the guests. The Magic Keys ushered in the nights fun of which every one took part!
Darren and Lynn is was an absolute pleasure to be involved in your celebrations, we wish you all the best for the future together.
