One week workshop at HfG Schwäbisch Gmünd with the aim to create a projection on our school buildings facade.

This project with Benedikt Groß and Joreg was about projections on architecture. With two projectors we were able to create the illusion of three dimensional objects on walls. Because it was not possible to test and develope these projections on real architecture we had a 1:50 model of our school building. Actually we tried to project typography on the walls but we had to find out that the resolution of the projectors was too bad to create interesting typography in 3d. Unfortunately this unsuccessfull first try took one of our five workshop days so in our final results we were not able to take care of the whole architecture. Nevertheless it was a very nice workshop and we learned a lot.
With the help of two projectors it is possible to simulate one single projector which has the same position as the viewer. This position is the only point were the illusion works. From other positions you will only see weird images.
