Explore a group of Google Suggest results at once, in a new and playful way.
Whenever you do a search, Google will try to autocomplete your search query based on what is commonly searched for. This experiment takes in any single word and reveals the many branchings that Google Suggest may offer you based on it. The chain-like behaviour of the interface invites you to explore the structure and play with the words.
Initially I wanted to see if an endless story could be written by taking chaining Google suggestions together. When it turned out that this inevitably resulted in loops, I decided to create an interactive map of Google suggestions. Google did not appreciate the many hundreds of automated requests I made and shut the school's IP-address outfrom the service for 24 hours. By controlling the amount of connections per second and caching the results, I was still able to gather the required information and develop the code.
