During a 2-day meeting in Naivasha Kenya 11 African civil society organisations came together to start up a bicycle network. The network’s aim is to provide a platform to harness the knowledge, experiences and expertise which is already there in many civil society organisations to improve the quality of life of people in Africa through non-motorised transport. Cycling out of poverty will take up the secretariat of the network. In the following months, the network will be established: registration, launch of a website, etc will be arranged. The video gives an impression of the start up meeting.
