From the "lost archives" of the cable TV syndicated Christy Show, host Christy English departs from her usual rock band shows to present one of the East Coast's most beloved stand up comics, Lou Caddy, who has starred in several major motion pictures including "King Of The Gypsies," "Raging Bull" and "Star, Baby." Foremost, Lou Caddy performed in virtually every major entertainment spot in Vegas, Atlantic City and New York as well as all over Jersey and Pennsy, in demand because of his comedic skills doing improv and spontaneous routines. On Christy English's show, Lou does a skit as Christy's Greek Father who invades the tiny studio in search for his show business daughter to return to working in the diner. The impromptu interview on "Christy's Couch" is hillarious as Lou Caddy spoofs virtually every question and subject. Also on the show, Stephanie Persuad from "Star, Baby" and Christy performs Bette Midler's "The Rose" and two of her original songs. This is a hybrid of two shows Lou Caddy apeared on in March & July of '81, thus the "instant" hairstyle changes. Produced by Louis Ferriol for Carlson International's local origination cable television . Unfortunately, we lost Lou Caddy several years ago, this serves as our tribute to all the fun and laughs he provided many audiences on stage and screen.
