My Perfect Mind is an experimental short film, all told from the point of view from a young man who, whilst tripping on a narcotic, see's a creepy ring leader who taunts him over his life.

The following comes from my co-editor for this film Jack Kibby Newman's (http://www.jackediting.com/) website:
Shot on 16mm by DoP Dan Grixti, this really captured a scummy atmosphere in this dark red room. The initial shoot was one long take, though it was cut up a lot by my co-editor Liam Dunne. We played around with the pacing and enforced the emotions of the actor. It really gave a sense of uneasiness and some sense of fear of the actor. Both of us are big comic book fans, so we were looking at Batman, and more specifically the Joker’s manic state. Each time the actor flinched he switches from intense, to angry, to depressed, to happy and calm. We jolted this around a lot to keep the audience on their toes. Some people suggested we over cut this short film, but I like it the way it is.
