The client requested that we have some sort of tutorial. Instead of doing another screengrab video and FAQ section I played around with the idea of letting the app run itself and teach the user how to use it. Basically let me show you how to stunt. I wrote my own package to sequence function calls, which could then be used to trigger actions within the application.
The first part of the video is just me messing around picking colors to illustrate that there is a state before going into the "how to" mode.
The animated cursor you see in the auto run mode is a scripted animation that simulates user interaction. Every action that happens is the application actually auto running itself. At the end of tutorial mode, the application would return the user back to their current design state.
