I came across this male lyrebird while running the trails around Ferny Creek in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, VIC. Fortunately, I had a happy-snap camera with a basic video function to capture him in full flight. He went through his full mimicry repertoire several times (imitating both other birds and mechanical noises) and plummage display. He wasn't fussed by my presence, which is quite unusual for this notoriously shy species. Taken January 2012.
