The weather was playing hard to get for my birthday trip. With melting snow and brown grass south of the cities, I decided to head north to Duluth as they had just recieved a fresh 7 inches of snow over night and it was still snowing. I chose Congdon Park with Tischer Creek running through it. I had visited the park three years earlier during the summer, so this would be different to capture, The creek had many over hanging frozen ledges making getting close foolishness. As I walked the short section of the creek, I occasionally stepped into a two foot deep space in the snow.
