Roberto and The Robot is a short student film made by Missouri State University's Electronic Arts program.
The 30 minute Steam Punk Style Rock and Roll Adventure follows Kendra, a young woman, paying the price for an adolescence of rebellion and rock 'n' roll. Taking on the alias of Roberto, she makes her way back to the underground subculture to pursue her passion of music. When her gang of rebellious outcasts find themselves with an experimental Robot, they hatch a scheme to go legit and make it big.
But will the origins of this strange and seemly harmless device catch up with them? A patchwork of futuristic and antique worlds, this steam powered film will rock your cogs off.
