Avalanche: Individual project created in 8 weeks using Houdini, Nuke and PFTrack. The effect was created using two layers of particle simulations and a layer of Houdini Pyro simulation. Compositing was done in Nuke.
OSCAR: Group project created in 7 weeks using Houdini, Nuke and PFTrack. I created a feather asset to procedurally create and animate different kinds of feathers. This was used together with particle simulations to create the pillow explosion scenes. Compositing was done in Nuke
Flood: Individual project created using Maya, RealFlow, Krakatoa, Nuke and PFTrack. The water was simulated in RealFlow. It was then rendered using Krakatoa with custom mapping for colours and reflections based on vorticity. Compositing was done in Nuke.
AI Ant crowd simulator: This Python script was written in 2 weeks, and is able to simulate crowds of ants using simple AI. The ants are aware of each other, have energy levels, and can have certain behaviour set to them. Their legs are moved individually depending on where each agent wants to go, meaning their legs will move in a realistic way and never slide. I did not model the ant.
