The Lily Pad Home - PNCA Animated Arts Thesis Film 2021

When a little amphibious girl named Minnette retreats into the lily pad river where a synthetic life force cannot hurt her, her rune activates, and a delightful giant lilypad creature appears. The creature wants to help Minnette and carries her on its back, swimming to her home. Who is this Lily pad creature? Why is it helping Minnette find her way home?
