Four riders set out from Pirates Bay, Eaglehawk Neck to head down to Tasman Island and take in the magnificent scenery on offer. The contrasts were extreme, with wind and sea conditions from dead calm, to very challenging. Scenery included massive sea cliffs and rockforms through to pristine beaches. Bird life was abundant with many seals sighted, often following the tuna boats waiting to share the catch. We visited many caves and the more sedate viewing of a shipwreck.
