National Geographic photographer Ira Block presented a two-day workshop in the Minneapolis area, working with hybrid photo/video projects. The workshop was hosted by Panasonic and National Camera Exchange, where I work, so I was present for the hands-on portion of the workshop at the arboretum in Chanhassen. Here's a few snippets from that overly chilly May day.
Camera is Sony NEX-7 with Zeiss 24/1.8 and Sony 50/1.8. All shots handheld, using Premiere Pro's Warp Stabilizer where needed. I unfortunately left my shotgun mic at home, as I anticipated doing mostly photo work. I shot in the Standard Creative Style with all parameters at default. Color grading was done with Magic Bullet Looks, sharpening with Magic Bullet DeNoiser II.
