Your wedding day is one of the most memorable days of most couple's lives. But at the end of the day, most brides are forced to retire their dress into a box where it collects dust in the attic... never to be seen again. One of the most exciting new ways to memorialize the bride, as well as the dress, is through a new trend of photography known as "Trash The Dress."
Here, Jennifer Petrosian decided to put her dress to the test in the cold waters of the Pacific Ocean. We have had the pleasure of working with Jennifer on several occasions including her wedding day at Lake Tahoe.
We were THRILLED when Jennifer approached us with the idea of trashing her dress and we showed up to Bolsa Chica Beach ready to capture some of what have become our favorite bridal images to date. This video is a behind the scenes look of our shoot where the bride says goodbye to her dress, and hello to some memorable images.
What happened to the dress after the shoot? Well, let's just say that Jennifer and Ara's dress paid the ultimate sacrifice in the name of art. While we think most "Trash The Dress" shoots don't have such a permanent end for the dress, we have to say this ending made for some spectacular images!
