Jackrabbit Farm Farms near Mt. Vernon, SD held an open house for the public last Friday. The 5,400 head sow unit will produce 140,000 piglets per year that will be finished by farm families in Iowa, MN and South Dakota. Michelle Rook looks at why these open houses are important for showing the public why these units are positive economically and how they are being good neighbors.
