Watch it in fullscreen! This is my senior project for UMBC. My idea was to create a 3D city in 3ds Max and animate a 24 hour loop using the daylight system. The final version has an interactive display that allows a viewer to speed up and slow down the animation as well as reverse it. The scene was modeled and rendered out of 3ds max, with the clouds and plant built in Maya and then everything was put together in After Effects. In total, this took about 5 months from start to finish. I received the award for Outstanding Artwork in Animation / Interactive Media at my Senior Exit Exhibition.
