wind: 13-17 m/s @ 235deg waves: Shoulder to head tide: low rising weather:SUN & Clouds temp: 13 g/C Seawater-temp 9 g/C People: lots! Gear: Starboard Quad 81 with Ezzy Legacy 4,2
Today it was Oostertime...SW winds and low tide, makes this the recepy for the Ooster, long lines most started shoulder, but if you picked the right set the could be bigger...did ride some head (or a little overhead) waves also...after 1 or 2 turns they resized to aroud waist..
The wind was very unstable, gusts very strong and gaps with no planing, the Ezzy handled great! The strong gusts where no problem at all, the gaps where a bit annoying ;)
Also had some nice "poinks" and also some higher jumps...further at sea where 2+ meter waves which did curl somtimes...made it nice ramps!! So if you had a nice wave and gust together it was fly-time!!!
My waveride technique is definately getting to a higher level...did try a few aerials also, but I enjoyed the flowing rides so much I didn't put a lot of effort in it today
GREAT!! More of this please!!!
