Andrew MacDonald is an artisan in the truest sense of the word. Throughout his artistic career, he has created sculptures as public art, designed and made theatrical sets and shared his talents in workshops across the state.
But he recently took on a role with Toowoomba's famed Cobb and Co Museum as manager of the "National Carriage Factory". It's a job that allows him to indulge his passion for creation - anything from display cabinets to sculptures to his ultimate challenge: a "buckboard" carriage with useable spotted gum wagon wheels he can "trust".
