First of three spots created at Frame Set an Match in Sydney. One of the early challenges was to get the scale of the scene to correctly convey that the action is taking place inside a bowl and not a swimming pool.
Another interesting challenge was the creation of a meniscus, which played a significant role in integrating all elements in the scene. This was achieved by using an extra fluid element inside the Coco Pops and then meshing the two fluids together.
The simulations, for different shots, ranged from a couple of hours to about ten hours on a dual hex core workstation.
